uses, and doses of the Colchicum Autumnale. 

4. State the operation, uses, and doses of Digitalis, and the 

symptoms of p'oisoning Ipy thii medicine. 

5. What is the mode of preparing the Chlorate of Potash, 

and what are the physiological action and uses of 
this salt ? 



6. State the properties, uses, and doses of the Chloride of 

Calcium and the Hypochlorite of Lime. 

7. What is the composition of Camphor; enumerate the 

preparations of it, and their uses and mode of opera- 
tion. 

8. What are the composition, uses, and doses of the Chloride 

and of the Sulphate of Zinc ? 



9. Give a Classification of Medicines. 




10. Enumerate the Substances used as Expectorants, and 

state iheir modes of action. 

11. Enumerate the substances given as Diuretics, and men- 

tion their modes of operation. 

12. What are the articles usually employed as Diaphoretics, 

and the modes of exhibiting them ?
